Background issue fix
Some people have reported a problem with getting their background color or image to display on their website. Even though you choose a background color or image, the background still displays as white when viewed as a webpage. The problem seems to only happen when using Firefox as your browser. It appears that Firefox is adding in some extra code to the text of the page, such as the Welcome Page text, that interferes with the background.
There is a two-part fix to these problem:
Part #1 - Update POW-PAK: One part is an update to POW-PAK that your school tech department needs to install on your school web server. This will stop the problem from happening from here on out.
Part #2 - Remove unneeded code: The second part is something each user needs to do if they have had this problem. This part is to clean up the unneeded code that got added. Even when you tech department does the upgrade to POW-PAK, you still need to go through and clean out the unneeded code. It will not disappear automatically.
Below is a detailed explanation of each part:
Part #1 - Update POW-PAK (NOTE: This part needs to be done by your school tech department)
That's it for Part #1. POW-PAK is now updated and new occurrences of the background problem will not happen. However, anyone who already had the problem will need to do Part #2 below to remove the extra code that got added in.
Part #2 - Remove unneeded code (NOTE: This part needs to be done by each user who had the background problem)
If you are a user who had the background problem, then you need to remove the extra code that got inserted into your web page that is interfering with your background. Here is how you clean up the code:

NOTE: Your tech department has to do Part #1 above first, or your background problem will come back if you continue to use Firefox. Your only other option is to switch to Internet Explorer to edit your web page and do the steps in Part #2 to clean up the unneeded code.
